Not much going on with the Bluestar lately. Spent today fixing a leak on the diesel pump thats been costing me MPG since August… Took the opportunity to modify the governer on the pump too… And gave the engine bay a good clean

Its taking its time getting here, but Winter is just around the corner.
Now running my winter tyres, although not on the Vito Steels I ran last year.
I recently came across some VERY rare 15″ Atiwe pepperpots or Cheesehole (Käse-Loch) as theyre sometimes known… shame not to use them!
Tyres are 205 70 15 Hankook Icept
Seem quite good so far. I ran a pair of Hankook mud and snow on the rear last year and it transformed the grip and roadholding when driving on snow.
Information about the Atiwes is hard to come by. They were supplied by Atiwe specifically for the T3 (as well as the more common 14″ version). Dehler fitted them to a few Profi conversions, and there is a set fitted to the Magma Syncro in the Volkswagen museum.
Other than that, there doesnt seem to be too much information out there.
They were a lucky find for me, a German friend found them for sale whilst searching for a set of 13″ Atiwe rims for a Golf.

Park next to a 16″ syncro with raised suspension

Camping near Satburn

Gauges wired up, except the clock. I dont really need that its just filling a hole til I get a maching VDO boost gauge.
Need to find a suitable gearstick gaiter and then trim it up in grey to match the interior.
